The Silence T-zip Pants are a pair of multifunctional outdoor pants perfect for hiking and other outdoor activities during spring, summer, and fall. They’re made in a durable 4-way stretch fabric with excellent ventilation and a smart T-zip function that lets you detach the leg endings without taking your shoes off. With an elastic waist, pre-shaped knees, and adjustable leg ends with buttons, these convertible outdoor pants are made to fit perfectly. Boot hooks at the ends of the legs help keep the pants securely in place during any activity.

Avoid using fabric softener and never use it on shell garments or other water-repellent clothing, as this clogs the pores of the fabric and impairs breathability.
All garments with DWR treatment should be tumble dried on low heat for reactivation, while other garments should not be tumble dried. This is to protect the environment and save energy.
Try to wipe off dirt and mud instead of washing the garment. Never iron the garment, as functional materials are sensitive to heat.

Disappointing
A brilliant idea but sadly it just doesn't work. The zips seem to be too chunky for the fabric so they stick out in an ugly but comical manner. I was particularly disappointed because the trousers fit perfectly and are very comfortable. The shorts look good but a bit pricey if they can only be worn zipped off. Sorry Revolutionrace, I love your stuff but back to the drawing board with this one!

Fit
Very poor fit, bags out at knee and fabric is far too stiff at the bottom on the leg. Definitely needs a re think. Clever idea to be able to zip off without taking boots off. I’m sure it can be sorted out with some thought.

Sturdy and big pocket!
Perfect sizing, I like that it is light for summer hike, and with the possibility to remove the leg without removing the shoes. Sturdy material, and big thigh pocket that fits my monster size phone!
Downsides for me are the wrinkled elastic band at the back which is a bit itchy even with a t-shirt tucked in, and the bottom leg material is too thick (therefore warm) for a lightweight summer trouser.

Weird legs
I seriously rate Revolution Race trousers and have many pairs but I was so disappointed with the Silence zip-off ones. The top of the leg was a completely different width to the bottom. One was baggy, the other thin so the trousers looks really weird when the top and bottoms we’re zipped together. Reluctantly, I returned them.

Stylish and good fit! LOVE that you can turn into shorts on hot days, and that's also why I bought the pants :)
Since they are meant to be used out hiking in the woods and fields, I understand that the material is meant to be durable, so I feel that I also want a pair in some softer and more stretchy material for full day home use and small close walks with the dog. Don't know if it already exists but will check.

I already have the north face zip-off, but have gained a bit and it is now a bit too tight for me. So I ordered this zip-off in 2xl. However, it was much too big for me and therefore unfortunately went back. However, I really liked the material, maybe I'll order it again in XL.

... a small drawback
.. For me, it is that the thigh pocket is not equipped with a net set this time. I always carry my cell phone in there during my extended dog walks and without the mesh insert, it rocks, swings and slides permanently back and forth with the very pleasant but thin material. I wear the pants almost only zipped off in summer, I find the material more comfortable than the "shorts" models.

Super good pants
Super good pants nice comfortable on.
I had a hard time figuring out which size was right for me.
Since I have suffered large thighs. I was unsure if they sat too close But they fit ok.
One less number garden fit better
But it could have been nice. If you had more options, choose between the length of the pants. They are about 10-15 cm too long.
