Unfortunately, I don't understand why the short end is on the top. This makes it difficult to move the belt, as it keeps getting caught in the belt loop. It is also very difficult to get this through the belt loop.

Very nice coat.
Just got back from a week of skiing with this jacket and I'm very happy with it. The seat is perfect. If I have to name a disadvantage, it is the pockets or rather the lack of side pockets to put your hands in when you are walking.
