Sustainability

Nature is our playground, and we’re here to protect it.

From day one, our mission has been to make the great outdoors accessible to everyone – but that means nothing if we don’t do our part to protect it. We’re all in on making outdoor gear that lasts, reducing our impact, and keeping nature wild and free for generations to come. Nature is and will remain our playground!

Climate conscious, adventure ready

Did you know that the most sustainable product is the one you use again and again? Our customers wear their RevolutionRace trousers an average of 79 times, and 56% plan to keep using them 100 times more. With 600,000+ product reviews and counting, and an average rating of 4.6/5, we know our gear is built to keep up.

We minimise our impact by designing for durability, using smarter production methods, and cutting down emissions. We prioritise low-impact transport, avoiding air freight whenever possible and using biofuel-powered sea and road transport. We’re also tackling returns through our strict quality controls and our digital return checkout.

Overproduction? Not our thing. We’re careful to only make what we can sell, keeping our overproduction to just 0.2% last year. And when gear needs a refresh, our repair kits keep your favourites going strong. Simply put: less climate impact, more adventure.

Materials with a smaller footprint

Every material has an impact, so we choose wisely – balancing durability, performance, and sustainability. Since our gear is made to be used, we pick materials that can handle real adventure, resist the elements, and stay strong through countless wears. To reduce waste and emissions, we’re converting our products from virgin to recycled polyester and polyamide, giving new life to existing materials without compromising quality.

And animal lovers, don’t worry. We’ve never used real fur in our products – and as a Fur Free Retailer, you can trust that we never will. We believe no adventure is worth harming animals, which is why we source cruelty-free wool and down from third-party certified suppliers. From the first stitch to the final product, we’re committed to materials that perform in the wild – and protect it too.

No to PFAS since 2019

We believe your outdoor gear should protect you from the weather without polluting the planet. That’s why we banned PFAS in our DWR treatments already back in 2019. No shortcuts, no excuses.

We’re serious about keeping things clean every step of the way, from fabric production to final product. We aim for 100% of our materials to be certified by OEKO-TEX® 100 or bluesign®, committing to the highest environmental standards in the industry. We’re already making big moves – 53% of our textile volume now comes from bluesign® System Partners and 99% is OEKO-TEX® certified. That means you won’t find any harmful chemicals in our clothes.

By choosing the right materials and working closely with our suppliers, we ensure that your favourite outdoor gear stays adventure–ready without leaving a mess behind.

Ethical production is part of our fabric.

Great gear starts with great people. While 146 of us work from our HQ in Sweden, the real magic happens in our supply chain, where 15,000+ people bring our designs to life.

We believe fair wages, safe working conditions, and human rights aren’t optional – they’re the foundation of our production. Every factory we partner with has passed a third-party social audit, ensuring ethical production and worker protections. Plus, we work closely with our suppliers to keep raising the bar on fair treatment, safety, and transparency at every stage.

We’re also committed to giving workers a voice. With a local grievance mechanism in place in every factory, we encourage all workers to speak up against injustice and unfair treatment at work. Because sustainability isn’t just about the environment – it’s about people, too.
