The Aphex Pro Trousers are our toughest shell trousers designed for extreme conditions. They are made with our completely water- and windproof membrane, Hypershell® Pro, and features excellent ventilation and a durable shell fabric. All trims and details are chosen to withstand the roughest weather conditions, all zippers are YKK® Vislon/Aquaguard, and exposed areas are reinforced. The trousers are equipped with zippered thigh ventilation and Recco® reflectors for searchability in emergencies. The lower legs are expandable with zippers for an optimal fit over ski- or walking boots, and the waist is adjustable with Velcro. The Aphex Pro are a pair of incredibly versatile shell trousers; wear them for expeditions all year round or as a technical alpine ski shell during winter.

Avoid using fabric softener and never use it on shell garments or other water-repellent clothing, as this clogs the pores of the fabric and impairs breathability.
All garments with DWR treatment should be tumble dried on low heat for reactivation, while other garments should not be tumble dried. This is to protect the environment and save energy.
Try to wipe off dirt and mud instead of washing the garment. Never iron the garment, as functional materials are sensitive to heat.

Feel totally secure from the elements with these trousers. They are worth the money if you need top quality clothing. Large were slightly too big (I'm 5'8") but that said it provides for good movement and still good to go for hiking. Could use for skiing too if I go. Recommend getting them if you an afford it. Due to get the jacket also to complete the outfit.
